About this app

This app is unique in that it shows you interactively the position of the center of gravity of an airplane within its envelope as you manipulate its loading through a set of sliders. The graph shows the center of gravity at the beginning of the flight, at the end of the flight and with full tanks. You get a clear warning in case of overloading, if at any point during the flight the center of gravity exits the envelope, or if the quantity of fuel is less than the hourly consumption at the end of the flight.
You can enter the parameters of up to 20 aircraft and you can specify 4 loading presets, making this the most rapid app to balance your aircraft before your flight.

Love the app! Takes a while to get set up, but once you do it's great! A few requests: 1. Add wind gusts to the wind calculator. 2. Ability to change the label for the loading stations. 3. Ability to add more loading stations. 4. Ability to add lines in the envelope for "max landing weight" and "max zero fuel weight" and have them respected with warnings. 5. Ability to input a change in moment for gear retraction. 6. Lengthen the screen image for larger screens so we don't have to scroll. Nice!

wanting to change away from a spreadsheet that I currently use. started setting up parameters, but the app would not allow me to change fuel consumption. every time I tried to save it skipped back to that parameter, highlighted it in red, but never gave assistance on what the issue was. uninstalled. my spreadsheet just works - I'll stick with it.

I find the preset info good but there is a distinct lack of documentation (or I haven't found it). If I set up a new envelope although it is stored the weight and balance graph lines do not show. SO unless I am using a predefined plane I am stuck! Could be brilliant.
