About this app

Awar n Arif teaches you Tarifit — the Amazigh language of the Rif in northern Morocco, the way it is spoken in Nador (Taqirʿisht). At home people say Tmazight; books write Tamazight. In English you will mostly find it as “Berber” — a word that goes back to “barbarian”, and not one we use ourselves. Not an off-the-shelf course, but put together by a native speaker, with the forms people actually use.
