To cover distracting apps during your prayer window, Awda uses Android's Accessibility Service (AccessibilityService API).

With your permission, Awda simply detects when one of your selected apps is opened and places a calm shield over it until you complete your salah. This is a core feature of the app and the only way Android allows this functionality.

Your privacy always comes first. Awda never reads your screen, messages, notifications, or keystrokes. It only detects when one of your selected apps is opened during a prayer window. No personal data is collected, shared, or transmitted. Everything happens securely on your device.
