Awego (pronounced aouigo) allows you to instantly obtain an indicative value of a type of property of a given surface area and without work, by address or GPS location with real-time updating during a trip.
At startup, if your location is accessible, the application attempts to determine the type of property where you are located (a house of 100m2 by default or an apartment of 70m2), then launches a search for recent sales on nearby properties of the same type: you then obtain in a few seconds an indicative value of the targeted property.
Each sale or group of sales found is represented on the map by a clickable icon: you obtain a Card containing the details of the sale concerned and by clicking on it, you view the property via StreetView. A button is also available at the bottom right: it displays the number of sales found and allows you to view all the Cards.
During each evaluation, the application determines the median value of the sales found (this is the price/m2 from which there are as many sales below and above this value). Sales above the median value are represented by a green icon, those below are orange, and blue icons represent grouped sales.
A large gray button at the bottom left displays the indicative value of the targeted property, specifying its type and surface area: you can modify these parameters by clicking on this button.
A button at the bottom right allows you to activate or deactivate localization: when localization is deactivated, you just need to make a long press on the map to move the position from which an evaluation is launched; you can also click on the magnifying glass and enter an address. The application covers Metropolitan France + DOM TOM.
Location allows you to update the indicative value in real time as you move: to do this, you must have traveled 100m and 30 seconds have elapsed between 2 evaluations. This way, you see price fluctuations depending on where you are located.
A button at the top right allows you to select the display mode: Map, Satellite or StreetView. When you activate StreetView, the application attempts to determine the orientation of your smartphone in order to orient the display of the targeted location in the same direction.
When location is activated, a second button appears just below and allows you to select the map orientation mode: Fixed (North is at the top of the screen), Magnetic North Tracking or Movement Tracking (the map is oriented according to the direction of your movement).
No personal data is transmitted or recorded, only GPS coordinates are used to search for sales used to calculate the indicative value. Sales information comes from DVF.
