Awesome Markdown is a clean, distraction-free Markdown editor for Android. Open, read, and edit your .md and text files with a hybrid live preview — the paragraph you're editing shows its raw Markdown, while everything else stays beautifully rendered. No clutter, no ads, no account.

✍️ HYBRID LIVE PREVIEW
Edit and preview at the same time. The block you're working on reveals its raw Markdown (# Heading, **bold**, - list); every other block stays fully rendered right where it sits. It's the natural way to write Markdown — now on your phone.

📂 OPEN ANY MARKDOWN FILE
Open and edit the .md and text files already on your device. Your recently opened files are one tap away, so you can pick up right where you left off.

Optional auto-save writes changes back to your file as you type. Unsaved edits are kept safe and offered back to you the next time you open the app. Your scroll position can be restored too, so long documents reopen right where you left off.

🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, nothing sold on. Your files stay on your device and are never uploaded. To find and fix problems, the app sends pseudonymous crash reports and usage counters — never file names, paths or the content of your documents — and you can switch both off. Images your documents link to are loaded from the web; that can be switched off too.
