I have been using WeatherBug fir years. I started Using WeatherBug along with another weather app when I was involved with Little League Baseball. WeatherBug had an app for little league Baseball and included a lighting strike map! Lightning can be well ahead of obvious approaching storm and being alerted ahead of possible danger was great, I have used WeatherBug ever since. This app has all the features needed as accurate as any forcast could be . Well worth the cost. Hope this helps.
I wanted a great app that does everything. And this is it, BUT. It's a very crowded app with lots of features, and you can't turn most of them off. For example, weather alerts include advisories, watches, and warnings. But it's all of them or none of them. You can't say warnings only, or warnings and watches. The home screen miniapps can be reordered, but not turned off. This is a very good app for hardcore weather types. I still use it, but for mere mortals like me, it's information overload and there's no way not to drink from the fire hose.
Had to pay for again!! New app is not as good. Less attractive, fewer options, no 1x4 to match my other weather apps. Cluttered with non weather boxes and info. May uninstall and use others.
Thank you for finally updating the paid version. I left this app years ago because they stopped supporting/updating their paid version. So now I will check it out again and see if it is as good as it used to be....update... Yep even better.
Why are the weather widgets such garbage? Where is the 3 day forecast widget? Weather Underground has much better widgets.
Nothing says "incompetent, lazy-ass progammer" louder than an app update that, when installed, clobbers all of you previous config settings.
We regularly update our app to include the latest bug fixes and improve speed and reliability.
