Home renovation projects can quickly become a tangle of scattered notes and forgotten tasks, but Hangar brings clarity by turning your phone into a familiar contractor's pegboard. The app centers around a single Job—each one representing a specific task like painting cabinets or replacing a faucet—with fields for title, room, an optional target finish date, and a status. Your Dashboard immediately shows what matters most: two heavy stamped metal key tags hanging from hooks display your total jobs and completed ones, while three urgent job tickets with colored rubber bands sit right below. A floating metal hook button with a plus sign stays within reach, so you can add a new Job ticket to the board in a single tap. The Tasks tab holds a full scrollable list of all your job tickets, each suspended from its own metal hook, and a top search bar lets you filter by title in an instant. Each ticket is styled as a small manila paper card with a punched hole and thin wire loop, and the status rubber band wrapped vertically around it tells you at a glance whether the work is Not Started (red), In Progress (yellow), or Completed (green). When you switch to the Add Job screen, you get a blank ticket pinned flat to the pegboard where you fill in the title, room, due date, and status using clean, chalk-text inputs. The Rooms tab works behind the scenes to build a dynamic grid of room cards from the jobs you have created, so you see each room's name along with its total and active job counts; tapping any room filters the Tasks list to show only that space's work. Everything you do—creating, updating, marking complete, or deleting—saves immediately to your device's local storage, which means your plan stays private and available without any accounts or cloud dependencies. When you finish a task and delete its ticket, the animation unhooks the manila card from the hook and flips it away with a soft paper rustle, reinforcing the physical, workshop feel. Sorting your job list by due date automatically lets you prioritize what needs attention next, so deadlines don't slip by unnoticed. Hangar is built for homeowners juggling multiple rooms, DIY enthusiasts upgrading their spaces room by room, and contractors organizing small renovation jobs on the fly. By mimicking the tactile, visual system of a wall-mounted pegboard, the app removes the friction of typical to-do lists and gives you a straightforward way to see progress across your entire home.
