Maple Syrup Calculator is a set of 15 single-purpose calculators for the people who actually run the boil — built for cold hands, a steaming pan, and no signal in the sugarhouse.

THE ONE YOU'LL OPEN EVERY BOIL DAY

Syrup finishes at a fixed distance above the boiling point of water, and water's boiling point moves with the weather. Working from a memorized 212 °F is the most common reason a batch finishes off density. Tell the app today's conditions and it gives you the exact temperature to pull at.

Three ways to set it, whichever suits your setup:

• Type today's barometric pressure
• Enter the boiling point you measured in the pan — the most reliable of the three
