The FAME Dairy App is a modern digital solution designed for Dairy Farmers to efficiently manage the health of their livestock & dairy business.
The app helps dairy farmers to track the health status of their cattle by providing tools to monitor cattle wise milk production, vaccination and insemination status trackers, heat and calving status. The App also provides tools to monitor various business metrics helping the dairy farmer get insights into the efficacy of his dairy business. The App allows the Dairy Farmers to have access to their own data enabling them to evaluate their payment and profitability based on quality and quantity of milk sold.
FAME Dairy App has an easy-to-follow user menu offering the following options
Cattle Details: A screen displaying the dairy farmer’s detailed profile comprising of type and number of cattle, milking status, deworming status, vaccination details, insemination and calving history and milk production report.
Add Milk Produced/Sold: A screen that allows the farmer to input cattle wise milk production, rate at which the milk is sold and revenue from milk sales. It gives a detailed and a broader view of the milk sold and cattle wise milk production over a desired period of time which is helpful for analysis of varying prices of milk in each month. There is also a statistical chart that depicts the milk sold trends over a period of time.
Add Expenses: A screen that lets the farmer input his fodder, medicinal and other expenses incurred during the month on his dairy business. This functionality allows the farmer to track his expenses as well as the changes in his income vs expenses.
View Reports: The farmer can access a multitude of reports that give him broad as well as detailed insights into his dairy business and the health of his cattle. The farmer can see a timeline of his cattle sold/purchased, reports to track average monthly milk production, revenue and expense reports, as well as cattle health reports (vaccination history, milking and dry periods, insemination and calving history and more).
A functionality to send reminders to the dairy farmer when his cattle vaccination is due.
The App has been gamified to improve engagement and make it fun for the Dairy Farmers for whom it is the first time using an App of this kind. The users earn coins for every entry they make and can spend the coins to access reports. A monthly leadership board displays the names of dairy farmers in the area that have earned maximum coins, motivating the user to increase usage and earn more coins.
The app provides various settings options to the farmer for better and easy communication. These options include choosing the language of choice, registering the device and authenticating user account.
