SCAN ANYTHING, INSTANTLY
Point your camera and the code is read the moment it appears. No shutter button, no waiting. QR Code, Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Codabar and ITF are all supported. Already have a code in your gallery or a screenshot? SEE WHERE A LINK REALLY GOES
Short links hide their destination. Before you open one, QR Reader checks it on your device and flags look-alike domains and risky patterns. Tap "Reveal destination" to follow the redirects and see the real address first. You decide whether to continue.

SCAN A BARCODE, KNOW THE FACTS
Scan a product and see its name, brand, ingredients and nutrition from Open Food Facts. Scan a book's ISBN for the title, author and cover from Open Library and Google Books. Results are cached, so they open instantly the next time - and offline.

CREATE A CODE FOR ANYTHING
More than 30 code types, each with a ready-made form: website links, plain text, phone numbers, email, SMS, Wi-Fi networks, contact cards, vCard and MeCard, calendar events, map locations, crypto addresses, app listings, and profile codes for Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Spotify, Bluesky and Viber. There is no account and nothing to sign in to. Your scan history, saved codes and business cards stay in the app's private storage on your phone, not on our servers. Camera frames are decoded on the device and are never recorded or uploaded, and the content of your codes never goes into analytics.

QR Reader is free and supported by ads, which never appear on the camera screen.
