Many articles fail to load. Does anyone review/test before publishing? Look at Ask Amy the last two days. The bottom of the article has 2 responses from her where the questions were missing.
Great when it works, but it seldom does. The most common problem, among many, is its failure to load an article when you tap the headline. Another annoying shortcoming: a notification arrives for a specified item, but when you tap the notification you're taken to an unrelated part of the paper. Don't get me started....
Just ok news app. But can't turn off notifications. Can't search for articles. If i press a section tab that is locked, it logs me in and unlocks it but moves me back to the main tab. So I have to press the section tab a second time and then it shows a blank screen. So then I have to press another section tab and then the section tab I want for the third time. Finally I see the section contents. This happens most days after booting up my phone and starting the app for the first time that day. As a software developer, I don't consider this a very good app. UPDATE: Per the developer, these issues have indeed been fixed in the latest version, so I have upped my rating to 4 stars.
Too much useless info Hasn't updated the news in several days now. A lot of what's posted is old, lots of repetitive pictures and sports, really needs a more sensical approach. Even with the newer version it's still the same....very repetitive sports, nature pics, very little is useful.
Always hangs up. Doesn't bring in new
Much improved newer version, thanks!
