The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books) before your precious one starts kindergarten. Does it sound hard? Not really if you think about it. If you read just 1 book a night, you will have read about 365 books in a year. That is 730 books in two years and 1,095 books in three years. If you consider that most children start kindergarten at around 5 years of age, you have more time than you think (so get started).

Love the program, the app needs a LOT of work. Asside from the fact that it's slow to load and crashes a lot it's a lot of steps to deal with. I like the concept of the 'library' but I would love to see a progress selection for longer/# in 1 books and a way to track how many times a book as been read. It would also be very nice to be able to click finished reading when you scan a new book in. My child loves story's and will go thru 3-5 a night then we scan after reading so I takes lots of time

This app is in dire need of an update. As stated in other reviews, it is incredibly slow. It takes forever to add a book, even if if you scan it. Half the time the book is "unknown" even if it's a well known book, so it has to be manually entered. There's no way to edit preloaded information or your own information after submitting it. Half the books don't have cover pictures uploaded and you can't upload yourself.

Not terrible for a free app but it needs to have some functionality built in to it. It's 2023. You should be able to scan ISBNs to add books to your list without going through the process of adding it to the library first, then adding it to your reading list. As a library manager, that is going to be what people complain about most when they use the app. I haven't figured out what they are using email for yet as there was no disclaimer in the app. Still going to try it out instead of paper logs.
