Baby Name Jar is a gentle daily ritual for parents-to-be. Every day you and your partner each drop a baby name in the jar. Neither of you peeks at the other’s until you’ve both added yours, then the jar opens and you see them side by side. Pick the same name and it’s a match!

• Invite your partner by email: they join in a tap
• Girl, boy or a surprise: fill one list, or girls’ and boys’ lists side by side until you know
• After the first ten days, each bring back a name you still love, so the ones you both keep choosing rise to the top
• Rank your top three (or one, or five) and watch your favourites change
• Middle names too, and try them with your surname, initials and all
• Open the jar every day, or save it for a weekly reveal
• Grandparents and friends can suggest names that only the two of you see
• A countdown to your due date
• A gentle nudge when your partner’s names are in, and a daily reminder at the time you choose
