Baby Safe Mode helps parents create a safer phone experience when handing their Android phone to a child.
With Baby Safe Mode, parents can choose approved apps and start a child-friendly mode designed to help keep the child inside the selected apps. The app is built for simple, private and offline use, with parent controls protected by a Parent PIN.
Key features:
• Choose parent-approved apps for your child
• Start a simple child mode from a parent-controlled dashboard
• Parent PIN required to exit child mode
• Multiple approved apps supported
• Local child profiles and app preferences
• Works offline after setup
• No account required
• No ads
• No analytics
• No cloud sync
• No subscription
Privacy-focused by design:
Baby Safe Mode does not require an account, does not use advertising SDKs, and does not send your child’s activity to a server. Parent PIN, approved apps, session count, and settings are stored locally on your device.
Accessibility disclosure:
Baby Safe Mode may request Accessibility permission for Enhanced Mode. This permission is used only during active child sessions to observe foreground app package changes and help return the child to the approved experience. Baby Safe Mode does not read screen text, typed input, content descriptions, notifications, screenshots, or the view hierarchy, and it does not perform click automation.
Important limitations:
Baby Safe Mode is a best-effort parental utility. It is not a Device Owner kiosk, enterprise device management solution, or a replacement for parent supervision. Android behavior may vary by device manufacturer, launcher, accessibility settings, system dialogs, power actions, and OS version.
Free use and lifetime unlock:
Baby Safe Mode includes 5 free child-mode sessions. After that, parents can unlock lifetime access with a one-time Google Play purchase. There is no subscription.
Designed for:
Parents and guardians who occasionally give their personal Android phone to a child and want a simpler, parent-approved phone experience.
