Backbar is a home bar you can actually keep track of — and a mixologist who only ever suggests a drink you have the bottles for.

Add your bottles once (snap a photo and Backbar reads the labels), and the app always knows what you can pour tonight, what you're one bottle away from, and what's running low.

A REAL COCKTAIL LIBRARY
• Dozens of classics, organized the way a drinker thinks — by family, then by drink — plus every recipe the community adds
• Save your own recipes, or tweak any recipe into your own private version
• Each recipe tells you whether you can make it, and names a stand-in when you're close ("your rye works here")

ASK THE MIXOLOGIST
• Chat with an AI bartender that knows your actual inventory, not generic suggestions
• At a friend's place or a party? Send a photo of their bottles and ask what you can make — nothing touches your own bar
• Recreate a drink from a bar menu: the Mixologist reverse-engineers the proportions
• Snap a recipe card or cookbook page to save it
• Tell it what you poured and it logs the drink and updates your bottle levels
