About this app

Centra is a fast, secure SSH client for Android. Open a real terminal on your Linux servers, move files over SFTP, reach private machines through jump hosts and keep an eye on server health, all from your phone.

REAL TERMINAL
• Full xterm-256color terminal with true colour, so htop, vim, nano and less work properly
• Extra keys row: Esc, Tab, Ctrl, Alt, arrows, Home/End, PgUp/PgDn, F-keys and common symbols
• Pinch to zoom, long-press to select and copy, one-tap paste
• Several sessions open at once, with tabs
• 5,000 lines of scrollback
• Works with hardware keyboards
• Sessions stay connected in the background

JUMP HOSTS
• Reach servers on a private network through a bastion, just like ssh -J (ProxyJump)
• Pick any saved server as the jump host; chains of several jump hosts work too
• Every server keeps its own login, key and host key check
• Terminal, file manager and monitor all work through the jump

SFTP FILE MANAGER
• Browse remote folders with permissions, sizes and dates
• Upload from and download to your phone, with progress
• Create folders, rename and delete files

SERVER MONITOR
• Live CPU, memory, swap and disk usage
• Uptime, load average, OS and kernel
• Top processes at a glance

SSH KEYS
• Generate Ed25519, ECDSA or RSA keys, with an optional passphrase
• Import existing keys (OpenSSH, PEM or PuTTY)
• Install your public key on a server with one tap
• Copy or share public keys

SECURITY FIRST
• Host key verification with SHA-256 fingerprints and the OpenSSH visual randomart
• Clear warning if a server's key changes, a sign of a possible man-in-the-middle attack
• Saved passwords and private keys are encrypted with a hardware-backed key from Android Keystore, and never leave your phone
• Optional lock: unlock with your fingerprint, face, pattern, PIN or password before opening a server
• Password, keyboard-interactive (2FA) and public key login
• No ads, no tracking, no accounts. Centra connects only to the servers you add.

Centra is free for one server, with the terminal, file manager, monitor and keys included. Centra Pro adds unlimited servers, jump hosts and quick connect to any host. Pro is prepaid, monthly or yearly: you pay once for the time you choose, and nothing renews automatically.
