About this game
Turn a backpack full of loot into a battle plan. Backpack Ascendancy is a single-player fantasy RPG where the position of your gear changes how you fight.
ARRANGE YOUR GEAR
Fit weapons, armor, potions and artifacts into a limited grid. Place compatible items next to each other for adjacency bonuses, then rearrange your backpack as you find new loot. Upgrade equipment and discover combinations that suit your hero.
FIGHT IN REAL TIME
Tap ready weapons and consumables, watch their cooldowns, and time your hero power. Enemies and summoned allies act automatically. Find a Catalyst Stone to make eligible adjacent items trigger automatically when their conditions are met.
BUILD YOUR HERO
Start as a Warrior and unlock the Rogue, Mage and Summoner with crystals earned through play. Each class brings its own strengths and hero power. Spend crystals on the Ascendancy Web for permanent passive upgrades between runs.
CHOOSE YOUR PATH
Explore branching routes through the Dungeon, Forest, Desert and Crystal Cave. Face enemies and bosses, visit shops, and choose how to use the gear you collect. Fill your library as you discover items and creatures.
PLAY YOUR WAY
Core gameplay and local saves work offline without an account. The game includes optional rewarded ads and has no in-app purchases. Available in English, French and Spanish.
Sign in to Google Play Games for achievements, monthly leaderboards and saved-game backup. These online features require a connection and a compatible platform account. Google Play Games saves do not transfer to iOS.
