Our Backpack History app offers you thoroughly researched history, told like a historical novel, in the places where it actually took place. You follow the suggested route to the locations where you listen to the individual episodes of the connected story. You can do this at the historical sites themselves or from the comfort of your couch. In doing so, you unlock original historical documents in your digital backpack, allowing you to delve deeper into history. With a tap, you can switch between a current map and a historical map at any time. This shows you what the city looked like back then and how it has transformed since then – or you can simply enjoy the artfully crafted historical maps.
