Tango's flashcard feature uses a spaced repetition system based on the SM-2 algorithm. It schedules review sessions at optimal times based on your memory.

Simply view words and rate them on a four-point scale: "Forgot," "Difficult," "Remembered," or "Easy." Difficult words are presented frequently, while easier words are spaced apart for efficient memorization.

■ In-Session Optimization
The same word will never appear multiple times in the same session. Words you get wrong will be retested after you've reviewed several other words. This ensures true retention, without relying on short-term memory.

All previously searched words are saved in your search history. You can review and add words you haven't yet added to your deck.

Search for and learn words in a variety of languages, not just English. The interface is available in both Japanese and English, so you can use it in your preferred language.
