BackYard Portal is the internal employee application for BackYard Misr.
This app is for BackYard employees only. Accounts are created by the company —
there is no public sign-up. If you do not work at BackYard, this app will not be
useful to you.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Attendance — check in and out from your phone, and see your own record. The app
confirms you are at your assigned branch at the moment you check in.
• Leave — request leave, see your balance, and follow your request as it is
approved.
• Notifications — get told when something needs you: an approval, a request, an
announcement, or a task that is due.
• Requests — raise and track HR and operational requests without chasing anyone.
• Your profile — keep your details and documents up to date.
• Team — see your reporting line and your team, and celebrate birthdays,
anniversaries and achievements together.
• Sales tools — for sales staff, follow up on your own clients and record your
activity while you are out of the office.
SIGN IN
Use the work email and password given to you by the company. Once signed in, you
can turn on fingerprint sign-in so you do not type your password every time. Your
credentials are stored encrypted on your own phone and are never uploaded.
PRIVACY
Location is read only at the moment you press check-in or check-out, to confirm
you are at your branch. The app never tracks your location in the background.

Fingerprint sign-in now repairs itself.
If the fingerprint button ever stopped appearing — usually after restoring a backup, switching to a new phone, or changing your screen lock — it never came back on its own. The app now notices and resets it for you: sign in once with your password and the fingerprint button returns.
This update is also about 25% smaller, so it downloads faster and takes up less space on your phone.
