About this app

Please note: Some features may not work on Android versions lower than 4.4.

A customized Badí' calendar with sunrise, sunset, etc. times for your location. Features include:
- A graphical representation of the current date incl. the times of sunset (start of the current Badí' date), sunrise, solar noon, and sunset (end of the date)
- An interactive calendar ranging from 1 B.E. (1844 AD) to 361 B.E. (2205 AD)
- An overview of upcoming 19 Day Feasts and Holy Days
- A list of sunrise and sunset times for the Fast

Additionally, the app includes two versions of a Qiblih compass, a compass rose pointing in the direction of Bahji, Israel as well as a map-based implementation which allows verification of the direction using landmarks in case your device's internal compass is not working or unreliable.

Planned features:
- Multi-language support
- Implementation of regions at extreme latitudes where fixed times, rather than actual sunrise/sunset etc. are used
- User-defined locations to use in addition the the current location
- Reminders

Please note that while calculated with very high precision, dates beyond 221 B.E. (2065 A.D.) are not authoritative.

Been using for more than a year. Still missing key feature for me. (Contacted dev a year ago about this) I have been using GPSRs for decades, and "marking" a spot is a basic op. When I have Location on, and the app finds where I am, I should be able to save that spot and name it myself. The app has all the info it needs. Instead, I need to find a nearby town or city, and use that.

This app has aided me retelling time and context to myself in a most accessible and comprehensive way, especially visually. I have started to observe Bahá'i Sabbath in my work life cycle and am leading a better, more spiritually sound, wholesome life as a result. Principle of the inherent Harmony of Science and Religion strikes again to my benefit and yours.
