Bagaer is an innovative baggage registration and tracking service, developed to ensure the security, integrity and authenticity of passenger bags in a simple, accessible and efficient way. The platform allows anyone, even without technical knowledge, to register detailed information about their baggage with complete technical and legal confidence, from the moment of registration until delivery.
The user interacts directly with the Bagaer app interface to register the baggage and generate authentic, encrypted and protected digital documents. These documents ensure the ownership, integrity and tracking of the baggage (with the help of the purchased tracker), making the identification and verification process much more reliable and faster, especially in cases of loss, fraud or baggage swapping.
From a technical point of view, Bagaer was developed based on forensic practices recommended by international standards, such as ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 27037:2013, which defines the methods necessary to ensure reliability in the collection, storage and preservation of digital evidence. The platform uses exclusive technology that prevents improper manipulation of data, ensuring that all recorded information — such as images, descriptions, metadata and identification documents — is preserved in a secure, immutable and auditable manner.
This process is validated by technical opinions issued by companies specialized in information security. All digital evidence generated by Bagaer is digitally signed through the Brazilian Public Key Infrastructure (ICP-Brasil), immediately after collection. This ensures that any attempt at subsequent alteration is detectable, ensuring the authenticity of the stored information.
In legal terms, Bagaer strictly follows the guidelines established for the chain of custody of evidence, according to article 158-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CPP), in addition to meeting the legal requirements for document authentication based on Provisional Measure No. 2,200-2/2001. The documents issued have recognized legal validity and can be used as evidence in legal proceedings, as established in articles 411, section II of the Code of Civil Procedure (CPC), and 369 of the same code, which allow the production of digital evidence.
In this way, Bagaer offers a highly reliable solution to protect passengers against loss, exchange, fraud and misplacement of baggage. The report generated by the platform, accompanied by documents and technical metadata, provides a complete overview of the checked baggage and can be used as evidence in legal disputes or for compensation purposes with airlines and insurance companies.
We recommend that the bearer of the report check the integrity of both the document and the attached files, as the reliability of the data depends on the complete preservation of the information in the state in which it was originally generated by the Bagaer platform.
