Effectiveness depends on your device, Android version, and connected hardware.


➡️ Important limitations:

• Built-in phone speakers and earpieces cannot be meaningfully boosted due to hardware and safety limits;
• Best results are achieved with headphones, car audio, and Bluetooth speakers;
• If audio is played directly by another device (for example Android Auto or a TV app), AmpsUp cannot process that signal;
• On most devices, cellular call audio path is hardware-managed and cannot be post-processed by third-party apps. Works reliably for media and many VoIP apps.
• Excessive volume can damage hearing or equipment — increase levels gradually;
• Changing audio effects in device settings to use anything else than original (for example Dolby), can override AmpsUp effects completely;


🛻 Car audio note:

AmpsUp improves sound when your phone sends audio directly to your car via Bluetooth or cable.

If your car runs apps itself (Android Auto or built-in media systems), audio is processed by the car hardware and cannot be modified.
