Every barcode ever printed is hiding something.
Point your camera at any product - cereal, a paperback, the bottle on your desk - and Barcode Beasts reads the stripes and turns them into a creature. The same barcode always makes the same creature, anywhere in the world, on anyone's phone. Your kitchen cupboard is a starter area.
SCAN
Real barcodes, decoded on your device. EAN-13, EAN-8 and UPC-A, which covers essentially all retail packaging. No connection needed.
RAISE
Feed, clean and play with what you find. Creatures have needs that tick along while you are away, a bond that grows with care, and moods that show it. Only the one you are carrying needs looking after - the rest of your roster rests.
TRAIN AND BATTLE
Turn-based battles across twelve elements, with type matchups that reward thinking rather than grinding. Seventy moves, priced against a stamina pool that makes a heavy hit a decision rather than an opener. Four training drills sharpen individual stats.
COLLECT
163 species across evolution families, six rarity tiers up to Mythic, and variants - Shiny, Mini, Giant, Alpha - that are brags rather than stat advantages. 28 quests, and a Dex that fills as you go.
TRADE
Send a friend code, agree a swap, and the server performs it in one transaction. Nobody can change their offer after you have agreed to it.
COME BACK TOMORROW
A daily reward, a seven-day login streak, and three objectives drawn fresh each day from a pool of ten. Spend what you earn on hats.
RANK
Four leaderboards - barcodes scanned, beasts held, species collected and battles won - each against everyone or just against your friends. One switch in Settings keeps you off them entirely.
