Ratings and reviews

I don't write a ton of reviews, but I used the app and service for the first time and, from end-to-end, it was truly an outstanding experience. The whole process, product, app, etc; all of it was easy, quick, and intuitive. My wife was floored and so excited when I sent it to her. It made her birthday. I'll never be able to top this gift for sure. Prices are absolutely reasonable IMO for what you're getting; a priceless and personalized moment the recipient can cherish forever.

Restrictions on the # of characters is maddening. You can't even write out a small paragraph to get a good cameo. Don't expect anything much, only being able to lay out 3 facts. Also, if the celebrity writes you a message, sometimes you can respond because the text box doesn't pop up. Then good luck finding how to get back to the message. This app isn't that great.

I don't know if it's the cameo app in general or just the android version of this app, but it's not very user friendly. It sometimes takes forever for a payment to go through and trying to load messages or even to check messages takes forever. At one point, I couldn't pay for messages and had to use my iPod touch, which wasn't any better. It'd also be really nice if instead of paying per message, cameo could utilise a subscription which would be more convenient.
