I like the gadget, but the app is awful. It only records when you're connected, which might be understandable because fermentation can take a very long time, but why doesn't the app have the ability to display a fermentation's history data without having to use Google Sheets? I don't need to see fancy charts, I just want to see how the specific gravity is progressing without being required to juggle two apps. Also, it reverts from Fahrenheit to Celsius whenever it's opened.

I love this product, but I'm disappointed with the app. It does a nice job of displaying the current SG and temp. As to the data logging, you're better off doing your own recording. The end-user shouldn't have to buy a Raspberry Pi or look up detailed instructions in order to see a chart. The option to email a csv file disappeared halfway through fermentation. I'm happy for all of you that figured out the cloud stuff, but I don't have time for it. Should be easy for $140 per.

Edit: Added 1 star Two things: First, my phone connects to the Tilt half the time due to ill interactions with other apps connecting to other Bluetooth devices (namely car insurance beacon). Second, not everybody has a device within Tilt range at all times thus, this makes gravity/temp tracking/recording VERY cumbersome. I don't know what my gravity readings were between the time I left for work and came back. So I feel I'm only using half of what the device is capable.

Thanks for your feedback on Bluetooth issue. For continuous logging to a cloud logging service like Google Sheets, we recommend Raspberry Pi running our free Tilt Pi software.
