About this app

DermaVirtual App is a web application for the online and virtual care of patients with acne, rosacea, or melasma, based on Dr. Eguren's clinical protocols.

The patient completes a simple, guided medical history form. They then upload facial photographs (previous or taken within the application) and, if available, previous lab results.

Using the collected information, the system generates a report with two treatment proposals so the patient can choose the option that best suits their preferences. The report is reviewed and validated by Dr. Cristina Eguren or Dr. Diana Velázquez before delivery.

After the patient selects a treatment plan, the necessary prescriptions are issued, complementary cosmetics are recommended and shipped, additional recommendations are provided, and a follow-up appointment is scheduled within a specific timeframe. This follow-up appointment is conducted via a new virtual consultation.
