About this app

Baseer POS is the point-of-sale app for restaurants and cafés that run on Baseer. Take orders at the table, send them to the kitchen, take payment and print the receipt — from an Android tablet, connected to the same Baseer store as your counter.

TABLES AND FLOOR
• Live floor plan of every area — see which tables are free, occupied, waiting for the bill or blocked
• Seat a party, assign a waiter, join or move tables
• Book a table for later, and handle no-shows and cancellations
• Guest QR codes so customers can view the menu and order from their table
• Kitchen screen showing what is waiting, cooking and ready

ORDERS AND CHECKOUT
• Quick product grid with categories, and search by name or barcode
• Product options, variants, bundles and recipes
• Discounts, custom prices and order notes
• Cash, card, online and split payments
• Hold an order and resume it later
• Dine-in, take-away and delivery orders

PRINTING
• Receipts on network (Wi-Fi/LAN) or Bluetooth thermal printers
• Kitchen tickets (KOT) to the right printer for each kitchen station
• Choose per order whether to print the receipt, the kitchen ticket or both
• Opens the cash drawer through the receipt printer

RUN THE SHOP
• Dashboard with today's sales, orders, top products and sales by hour
• Order history with refunds and exchanges
• Customers and their order history
• Products and categories: create and edit from the tablet
• Cash management: open and close the drawer, cash in and out
• Expense tracking
• Order taking and advance bookings for counters
• Reports with PDF and CSV export, shared to Files, email or chat
• Staff: attendance, shifts, leave and advances

WORKS OFFLINE
Keep selling when the internet drops. Orders, payments and changes are saved on the tablet and sent to Baseer automatically when the connection returns.

STAFF PERMISSIONS
Each employee signs in with their own account. What they can see and do — refunds, discounts, reports, settings — follows the permissions set for them in Baseer.

REQUIREMENTS
Baseer POS needs a Baseer account and a registered terminal. Contact Baseer to set up your restaurant. Android 7.0 or later; designed for tablets.

What’s new

• Kitchen tickets and the Kitchen Display now show each item's variant and options, so items like "Spanish Latte (Hot)" and "Spanish Latte (Iced)" appear as separate lines — on the first ticket, on reprints and on screen.
• Reprinted kitchen tickets now go to the right kitchen station for variant products.
• Network printers no longer stop printing until they are switched off and on. If a printer stops responding, the tablet frees it within seconds and shows a clear message.
