Readout is an instrument panel for the wrist. Twenty fields, and not one of them waits for you.

WEATHER NEEDS ONE PERMISSION, ONCE
Wear OS does not grant watch faces location access by default, so the temperature shows --° until you allow it: Settings > Security and privacy > Permission manager > Location > Watch faces > Allow while using the app. Everything else on the face - time, date, steps, heart rate, battery, moon phase, unread notifications - works the moment you install it.

WHAT IT DRAWS, WITH NOTHING CONFIGURED
- Day of the week, date and month
- Battery percentage, a battery gauge and a charging mark
- Hours and minutes, in a 100-pixel numeral
- AM/PM, in the status band beside the date
- Seconds, if you want them
- The condition in words, under the clock
- A weather symbol with separate day and night forms
- Temperature, with a minus sign that survives below zero
- Today's forecast high
- Today's forecast low
- Today's chance of rain
- Step count, with a gauge against your own goal
- Heart rate, with a gauge from 60 to 180 bpm
- UV index, with a gauge from 0 to 11
- The moon phase, in eight drawn frames
- Unread notifications

A HIGH AND A LOW THAT ACTUALLY ARRIVE
Forecast high and low are what this kind of dial gets wrong most often. They are usually wired to a complication slot, and no Wear OS provider publishes a forecast high or low, so the slot never fills. One well-reviewed sport face collected eleven reviews about exactly that over three years and then dropped the feature. Here both are read straight from the watch's own weather source. There is nothing to wire and nothing to pick.

THE DAY BAR
A 200-pixel track along the foot fills from left to right with the time of day. The sun rides its leading edge while it is light out; after sunset the real moon phase takes over. One switch turns it off.

FOUR COMPLICATION BAYS, AND NONE HAS TO BE FILLED
Two modules along the foot take short text, long text, a ranged value or an icon. Leave them alone and they keep drawing the face's own readings - moon phase on the left, unread notifications on the right.
Two 36-pixel shortcuts sit either side of the clock. They take an icon only, so an app shortcut renders edge to edge; they hold no text and no gauge. While they are empty they draw nothing at all - no ring, no placeholder.
None of the four is pre-assigned to anything. Calories, distance and floors are the three readings Watch Face Format cannot produce on its own, so put them in a bay and the dial loses nothing.

ALWAYS-ON
The clock stays 100 pixels tall on the dimmed screen, with the date, the step count and the day marker beside it. Five brightness steps, from a faint glow to full white.

CUSTOMIZE, ON THE WATCH
Ten themes. Five always-on brightness steps. Hour format: follow the watch, 12-hour or 24-hour. Leading zero on or off. Seconds shown or hidden. The line under the clock shown or hidden. The day bar shown or hidden. Every one of them is a dial in Customize on the watch itself - no phone app, no account, no sign-in. More than one copy is allowed, so two Readouts can sit side by side in the picker in different themes.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
Calories, distance, floors and sunrise are not readings Watch Face Format publishes, so this face does not claim them. The face's own wording - the channel labels and the condition names - is English. The date opens the calendar, the battery reading opens battery settings and the heart cell opens the heart-rate app; the rest of the dial is a display.
