About this app

Basis is a media player. It does not provide, host or sell any channels, movies or series, and it comes with no content of its own. You bring the IPTV service you already pay for, and Basis plays it properly.

Connect with an Xtream Codes login or an M3U playlist. Nothing else is required, and Basis will connect to nothing you have not entered yourself.

WHAT YOU GET

Basis AI. Ask for something in your own words instead of guessing a title, and Basis searches what your provider actually carries.

A real TV guide. Live channels with a proper programme grid, so you can see what is on now and what is on next, instead of scrolling a flat list of names.

A player that keeps up. Smooth 60fps playback, 4K and 8K ready, with picture-in-picture so you can keep watching while you do something else.

Your library, organised. Movies and series arrive sorted, with artwork, and you can build your own categories when your provider's are not the ones you want.

Continue watching, everywhere. Stop on your phone and pick it up on the tablet at the same second. Your progress and favourites follow your account, not the device.

Profiles for the household. Give each person their own space, with a PIN if you want one, and a Kids profile that hides adult categories across browsing, search and everything on the home screen.

Offline downloads. Take an episode on a flight.

An encrypted vault. Save one provider login to your account, encrypted before it is stored, so you do not retype it on every screen you own.

FREE AND PRO

The free player is not a trial and does not expire. Basis Pro adds cloud sync across up to five devices, offline downloads, picture-in-picture, custom categories, Basis AI and the encrypted vault.

WHAT BASIS IS NOT

Basis is not an IPTV service and is not affiliated with any content provider. It carries no channel list, no playlist, no provider address and no credentials. It does nothing at all until you supply a service you have obtained independently. What you watch, and whether you are entitled to watch it, is between you and your provider.

You will need an active IPTV subscription or your own playlist to use this app.
