About this app

Basmalah is the official companion app for Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), Islamic religious schools (madrasah diniyah), Islamic boarding schools (TPQ), and religious study groups (Majelis Taklim) that use the Basmalah information system.

One app for all roles. The menus that appear are tailored to your role within the institution—administrator, ustadz, musyrif, homeroom teacher, and student guardian.

FOR STUDENTS AND ADMINISTRATIVES
• Attendance at classes, religious studies, activities, and congregational prayers
• Quran memorization submissions, including grades and history
• Student report cards and grades
• Achievements, violations, and ta'zir (reporting)
• Student permits: application, approval, and return
• Finances: student bills, payments, and savings
• Correspondence, disposition, and document archives

FOR STUDENT GUARDIANS
• Child development on one screen: attendance, memorization, and ta'zir
• Report cards that have been issued, complete with grades and moral notes

ONE ACCOUNT, MANY INSTITUTIONS
For foundations with multiple Units and institutional contexts can be moved without needing to log out and log back in.

NOTE
This application requires a registered account with an Islamic boarding school that uses the Basmalah system. The data displayed is sourced from each institution.
Islamic boarding school clinic visit records — filled in by the institution's health staff; guardians can view their own child's records (not medical consultation services).
