Take your maps far beyond signal.

The BathyMaps Companion app puts detailed bathymetry on your phone — contours, depth shading and the full colour palette, with your position, speed and heading live on the chart. Download the regions you fish and the whole map works completely offline: every contour, every colour, full detail, 40 km from the nearest bar of signal.

OFFLINE, PROPERLY
• Pick a region on the map, see its exact size before you commit, and watch it land in seconds — the new download engine pulls whole regions at over 100 MB a minute.
• Add high-resolution satellite imagery for your spots: position a box over the water you fish and save reef edges, sand patches and channels for offline.
• Prove it before you leave the ramp — the offline simulation button makes the app behave exactly as it will with no signal, so you can check your coverage in ten seconds.
• Saved access keeps working for weeks between connections, and the app shows you exactly how many days remain.

TILT INTO 3D
Tap 3D and the seabed rises into living terrain — contour lines and depth labels draped over every ledge, gutter and pinnacle. Pan, pinch and twist to come at a feature from any angle, and wind the exaggeration up to make subtle structure jump out.

YOUR MARKS AND TRACKS
• Every waypoint from your BathyMaps account, sorted by distance and bearing from where you are right now.
• Drop a mark on the crosshair with one tap; file it into groups with notes, bait, tide — whatever matters.
• Made marks out wide with no signal? They queue quietly and sync next time you're connected.
• Record your tracks with a running timer and distance, pause and resume mid-drift, and keep a logbook of every session — recording contributes depth data, so today's drift becomes tomorrow's contour.

STRAIGHT TO THE SPOT
Got numbers from a mate, a magazine or your old sounder? Spin the coordinate wheels — degrees, minutes, seconds, no fiddly typing — and the map flies straight there. Save it as a waypoint or just have a look.

BATHYMART, SYNCED
Ultra-high-resolution surveys purchased on your BathyMaps account appear on the chart automatically, razor-sharp over the surrounding bathymetry — and they come along inside your offline regions too.
