Runehelm: Merge Defense combines fantasy castle defense with merge strategy. Summon defenders, combine matching units into stronger tiers, and choose upgrades as enemy waves approach. Every decision shapes the army standing between your castle and defeat.

Bring together three matching defenders to create a higher-tier fighter. Balance new recruits with stronger units and make the most of your available spaces.
CHOOSE YOUR BATTLE UPGRADES
Adapt your strategy during each run. Improve your defenders, combine their strengths, and discover powerful evolutions as your army grows.
LEAD WITH YOUR HERO
Choose a hero whose abilities support your preferred play style. Build around archers, magic, and other defender classes to face the next challenge.
SURVIVE WAVES AND BOSSES
Defend your castle through 20 waves per level. Face fast attackers, tougher enemies, and bosses that put your army to the test.
GROW BETWEEN BATTLES
Use your rewards to improve your castle and train your defenders. Return with a stronger foundation for your next run.
EXPLORE TWO FANTASY ZONES
Fight through 40 levels across Green March and Frozen Pass, with increasing challenges as you advance.
Designed for portrait play with simple tap controls and colorful 3D battles.
An internet connection is required to play. Starting a level uses energy, which recharges over time.
