Bricklayer’s Battle is a focused number puzzle built around a classic 9×9 grid. Each round presents a partially completed board containing numbers from 1 to 9. The objective is to complete every empty cell while following the core rules of the grid.
Every row must contain each number from 1 to 9 only once. The same rule applies to every column and to each 3×3 block. The player must consider the existing numbers and select the correct value for each empty position.
In Bricklayer’s Battle, numbers are entered directly into the board. The player taps an available empty cell and selects a number for it. Numbers that were placed automatically at the beginning of the round cannot be selected or changed. Correctly completed cells also become fixed and cannot be changed afterward.
There is no note function. Each decision is made by entering a number directly into the selected cell. The round includes a limited number of mistakes: the player can make up to three incorrect entries. A dedicated lives indicator shows the remaining attempts during the round.
Bricklayer’s Battle uses a single difficulty level, keeping the rules consistent throughout the game. Progress is based on completing the entire grid correctly while managing the available lives and the time spent on the round.
The completion moment provides clear visual feedback. After all empty cells have been correctly filled, the screen flashes green and the message “WELL DONE” appears. The completed round time is then displayed, showing how long the player needed to finish the grid. A “PLAY AGAIN” button becomes available to start another round.
Bricklayer’s Battle also keeps track of completion time. The best result is based on the shortest recorded time. A result is saved in the records when its value is greater than zero, allowing the player to keep a personal best and compare future completions against it.
Complete the 9×9 grid, protect your lives, and set your best time.
