Most tracking apps send your location to their servers. Locus doesn't. There is no backend, no account system, no analytics. Your location history is stored exclusively in a local database on your device — invisible to everyone, including us.

HOW IT WORKS

Locus uses your device's GPS to detect when you stop at a place. It automatically finds the place name, nearby points of interest via OpenStreetMap, and fetches a Wikipedia summary when available — building a rich journal of everywhere you've been.

No login. No subscription. No data leaving your device.
