As many others have stated, this app does not recognize the Ultimate 2 controller. I tried pairing it in the Bluetooth settings beforehand, forgetting it and just having it in pairing mode with the app open, and tried with a USB cable. Nothing works. It simply never sees the controller. Your lack of responses to any of these reviews is concerning. Otherwise, it's a great controller. That said, I don't use Windows on any of my computers, so this is a bit of a problem for me.

App doesn't seem to work with the Viture Ultimate Mobile Controller (telescopic). When I start the app it says "Please connect to 8bitdo device." Then when I connect my phone to the controller that warning goes away, however nothing happens, and there just continues to be a big green "connect" button. When I press the button, it brings me to a screen of OTHER 8bitdo bluetooth controllers, each giving me a tutorial on how to connect via BT. I believe your USBC connectivity is failing. S23+

Took me way to long to figure out how to map the back buttons. But what did work for my Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller Xbox was. Connect to app, create profile, enable profile, edit profile, remap and use X to save. Boot game with app open ( I think I didn't try it with app closed) press button under D-pad, will light up. After all that my paddle button remap worked. Maybe I'm just dumb, but hopfully this helps someone else.
