Remember when we used to joke about other banks' apps because BBK's was supposedly the best? Now, their app is a complete mess—unreliable, painfully slow, and just awful in every way. The outdated interface feels like it’s from a decade ago, and it’s beyond frustrating to use. I really hope this feedback reaches the IT manager because they desperately need to scrap this disaster and build a completely new, modern app. This current version is just unacceptable.

BBK, but is turning into an unfortunately outdated, “phone-call-only” legacy bank. While I was in the UK, their remittance team refused to send a single email, chat, or WhatsApp update about a missing SWIFT payment—only calls to my Bahraini SIM which I had to switch off to switch on my data esim. I missed two of them and lost an entire week; when we finally connected, the answer took 30 seconds: “the sender hasn’t released the transfer.” I am moving to digital-first bank like ila or alsalam

The additional security measures for logging into the app is very unnecessary!!! You already have to put us pin in order to open the app. Why do I have to have pin/ biometrics codes for my phone in order to access your app?!?! You can't dictate what people have on their phone!!! Unacceptable. I am not going to set up a pin for my phone to access your useless app.
