About this app

It has been never easy to take your meat from grill. Now you can use this Smart Thermo to make grill easier. Just simple insert the SmartThermo probe into the meat you'd like to track, let the free app know what you're tracking and leave your SmartThermo by the side of the grill (or smoker). This SmartThermo alerts you when your meal has reached the perfect temperature. Program your choice of eight entrees and choose the desired doneness - and you're good to grill!

I've read the comments and don't understand, it works perfectly for me, all you have to do is read the instructions but you know the times we live in, if you connect the device through the app itself you shouldn't have a problem. Depending on what material, i.e. Dutch oven, it might cut the signal. also you place the device somewhat between where you cook and where you are relaxing. Just read the instructions is all I can say

Can't even pair the thermometer, absolutely useless, can't do the one single thing it's meant to do. What thermometer needs location service access and camera permissions? App won't open if you don't give it the permissions either. Just really bad. Edit: Tried it again several months later, can finally pair via BT. Still not sure why it needs location and camera though...

A frustrating experience attempting to use this device. When finally paired to my Samsung, the temperature quit showing when about two steps were taken, and it stopped working. I tried all sorts of things but just too frustrating. Usually don't have time, when cooking to play around with a poor quality gadget like this, trying to reset it frequently through the cooking time.
