Bradford White Connect™ turns your water heater into a smart water heater and offers remote access*.

For homeowners or business owners, Bradford White Connect™ allows you to remotely change settings, set weekly schedules, monitor error messages, and more!

For contractors, Bradford White Connect™ allows you to remotely diagnose previous installations and be alerted of error messages (with the owner’s permission). If you are in the room with the water heater, you can also access the water heater’s settings on your mobile device, read sensor data, and log recorders of the visit for later. Additionally, the app contains sizing, cross reference, and warranty tools**.

You can't set schedules that extend past 12 AM so you need to set at least two schedules per day and you're only allowed 14 schedules total per week. Every schedule set is automatically bumped up an hour. There's no guide for the app. The errors codes are nonsensical. The only information pop up is cut off so it doesn't help. Notifications are not requested by the app so enabling them is useless. This is the worst commercial app I've ever used. Tons of other issues but I've run out of space.

This app is basically useless. Scheduling does not work. I set Vacation mode to 50°F from 8:00 PM-12:00 AM specifically to stop the water heater from running in the evening, yet the heat pump still turned on during that window. There’s no reliable way to fully shut off operation or confirm what the system is actually doing. One of the worst “smart” apps I’ve used.

the worst app I've ever used. set up glitches constantly, and the only way to trouble shoot the heaters internet connection is to reset and redo everything...so you lose all data, schedules, and settings. Absolutely garbage, and on this basis alone, I'd encourage people to buy a different brand of heat pump water heater.
