About this app

Emboss is a digital logbook that transforms your museum and gallery visits into a beautifully tactile collection of ink-stamped impressions. Designed for culture lovers who cherish a personal record of every exhibition, the app captures the essence of a passport stamped with memories. The Passport tab greets you with an elegant burgundy leather dashboard displaying your Total Visits and Unique Museums counters in glowing gold foil. Immediately below, a Recent Stamps section showcases your three latest visits as miniature stamped cards, each adorned with a tiny museum silhouette. A prominent Record Visit button lets you jump straight to adding a new entry, keeping your cultural journal effortlessly up to date. In the Stamps tab, you can scroll through your entire history of visits, with each entry rendered as a distinct stamped impression complete with museum name, date, and a favorite toggle. Use the integrated search bar to quickly locate a specific museum or memory, and tap any stamp to edit it or long-press to delete it. Adding a new visit is simple: the New tab presents a clean form where you enter the museum name, choose the date, jot down a short impression, and optionally mark it as a favorite. Hitting the large Stamp button saves your entry instantly and returns you to your growing collection. The Favorites tab gathers every visit you have marked with the ink-heart stamp, so your most treasured cultural moments are always just a tap away. When no favorites exist yet, a gentle empty state shows a subtle museum icon silhouette on a blank passport page. Every stamp you create carries a distinct character: a classical column for art museums, a microscope for science centres, and a castle for historical sites, each in a unique ink colour that spills slightly outside the stamped border. Favoriting a visit reveals a small ink-heart in the upper corner without any checkmarks or ticks, preserving the authentic passport aesthetic. All your data lives exclusively on your device, so your personal logbook remains private and fully accessible offline with no accounts or cloud syncing required. Emboss offers a calm, gratifying way to reflect on your cultural adventures, turning a simple list into a tangible-looking keepsake you will want to flip through again and again.
