I appreciate BC Hydro adding more chargers hugely. but I would like to say... Chademo is still going to be around for a long while and seeing as the amount of available chargers has been severely neutered at all new stations. like, 1 plug out of a dozen.. for the love of God, please make your fancy new app tell us if a charger is broken and or has an open ticket and therefore may not work.

App is very clean and laid out well enough. Fairly easy to use but the need to "reload your wallet" with fixed money is annoying. Just bill the card on file for the energy used. You're now charging enough to cover the transaction fees without question. Also, you can order an RFID card but I can't use my phone as the RFID? What the heck hydro? That seems obvious and means I wouldn't need to carry another card. I do at least appreciate that the stations are in good repair.

The app worked well overall with one hitch. If you are near two stations, and another vehicle is connected at the same time as you and they have not started charging, it is possible to start charging at the wrong station if you are not careful. Always double check the station ID before hitting start. Feedback for the developer is to add a confirmation saying something like "Confirm you are connected to BC-XYZ123" with a "Start Charging" and "Cancel" button.
