About this app

Homing shows exactly what your phone's GPS is doing and gets you back to where you started, even with no signal.

GPS STATUS
• Satellites in view and in use: GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and more
• Sky view and signal strength for every satellite
• Coordinates, accuracy, altitude, speed and heading
• "Refresh GPS data" when your position is stuck or far off
• Copy or share your location in one tap

COMPASS
• Smooth, accurate compass with true north or magnetic north
• Works lying flat or held upright
• Tells you when it needs calibrating

WAY BACK
• Save a spot (your car, tent or trailhead) and follow the arrow back
• Steers by your walking direction while you move, so it stays steady in your hand
• Add places by coordinates, or share a location into Homing from WhatsApp, Google Maps or SMS
• Reads plain coordinates, degrees-minutes-seconds, geo: links and map links

HOMING PRO (one-time purchase)
• Record your trail with the screen off
• Export trails and spots as GPX for Google Earth, Komoot, Strava, OsmAnd and more
• Unlimited saved spots (free: 3)
