The BEACON mobile app:
• Duty of Care: During a crisis, you can notify your organization by using a “panic button”, immediately sending an alert to request assistance.
• Advisories: Keeping you informed with relevant information on emerging threats and critical incidents tailored to where you are.
• Staff Headcounts: Prior to and during an incident, BEACON facilitates headcounts to account for your status and current location, giving you the ability to mark yourself as OK or Not OK.
• Geolocation: You can opt-in to share your location with your organization to enhance situational awareness. It helps with coordinating responses, especially during an incident.
• Instant Messaging: Shortening the lines of communication between you and your organization.
• Structured Reporting: Allowing you to report security risks and incidents to your organization.
