Throw It is a scoring and training app for axe throwing. It keeps score, tracks your progress, gives you stats, and a few things you wouldn't expect from a scoring app.
What you can do:
- Score Standard games (5 throws per round across 3 rounds — 4 standard + 1 clutch, with full sudden-death rules)
- Score Big Axe games with the same format
- Run Clutch Practice drills to grind that 7-point shot
- Play head-to-head Duals with someone on the same phone
- Set up local tournaments with brackets
- Build custom targets
The stats screen is the part I personally use the most. It shows where on the target you've actually been landing throws — not just your average score — how you perform on clutch shots, whether you get tired toward the end of a round, and how fast you recover after a miss. There are also long-term trend lines and personal bests across modes.
For training, you can design AI ghost opponents and race against them, or just track solo practice sessions and see what's holding you back.
PRO unlocks:
- Coach mode with weekly training plans that adapt to whatever your weak spots are
- A deeper analytics view with quadrant breakdowns, pressure index, stamina curve, and bounce-back rate
- Custom Ghost Builder — you set the opponent's skill profile yourself
- CSV and PDF export, if you want to pull your stats into a spreadsheet or send them to a coach
About data: nothing leaves your phone unless you say so. The first time you open the app, it asks whether you want to send anonymous usage stats and crash logs. Opt-in, not buried five menus deep. You can flip it back off anytime in Settings → Privacy. There are no accounts and no sign-up — just open it and start.
