Used this for years and before they really started to use ads. Now every time I open the app I've gotta wait through and click out of maybe three ads right when I open the app and then another one after turning the thing on, and then I have to see more ads just to turn it off. TLDR it's a waste of time to try to use this app anymore.

The app works great for identifying songs. The problem starts if you don't pay a subscription. You have to wait through ads before you can start song identification... there have been multiple times I missed the song just trying to get through the ad. To fix this, all the dev needs to do is let the app open and let you select song identification; then, the subscription prompt and ad can display after the app has figured out the song, but before it displays the artist and song for you to see.

Yes it finds the music. However, way too many ads. This app used to have less ads and it was better. Now they pop up every time I want to find music, and the ads are waaaaay too long. I'm highly considering finding a different app. I understand ads pay bills. I don't want to waste money on an app. $5.99/month really adds up ($71/year total). Even $49.99 per year is a lot. The frequency of the ads ruin the experience I once enjoyed. Maybe at least reduce the frequency please? You were my go to.
