About this app

An Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) application developed to support
people who do not use verbal language in everyday communication. The app
allows users to formulate requests, comments, and messages through the selection of icons
representing words, verbs, attributes, adverbs, colors, and numbers, each associated with
an image and descriptive text.
The icons can be used individually or combined to construct structured
sentences, promoting flexible and customizable communication based on the user's
abilities. For non-verbal individuals with reading and writing skills,
the app also offers the ability to type short requests or comments.
The application integrates a speech synthesizer that reproduces selected or written content in real time, facilitating interaction with the environment and with other people.
The tool is designed to promote independent communication, social inclusion, and
active participation in daily activities.
