2. Contacts: Tiny Calendar needs this permission to read Google Accounts from your device for adding Google account within app. Also Tiny Calendar needs this permission to read contacts from local when you choose to add attendees for an event.

Ratings and reviews

I've used this app for years and recently upgraded for a small fee. I'm not consistently getting reminders with the upgraded (paid) version. I set reminders to take medications. They are not working. I heard from the developer after I first posted about this issue. However, there was no follow up on the issue. Yesterday i missed another reminder. I've now revised my rating from 2-stars to 1-star. A calendar app without reminders is useless. Too bad. This used to be an awesome app.

GOOD:- really well done! easy to use. intuitive navigation - app allows dragging of the events in both month and week view BAD / IMPERFECT: - app doesn't allow to see larger list of all-day events in month view, and in week view as well. there is a way to scroll there, but it's not best. would prefer to have line separating timed event from all day events to adjust the position in some way - also would prefer a real date on the badge

I love the tiny app widget so much. So easy and simple and the design is so soothing. I have ADHD and need reminders for everything, but get overwhelmed is the calendar gets cluttered. This app is the best I've found. My only problem is that I have to delete and reinstall the widget over and over and over because it just stops working sometimes. And every time I reset my phone I have to open the app because the widget won't show up until I do. Kinda frustrating but oh well.
