About this app

Turn your Android phone or tablet into a motion tracking target: ScreenTrackr shows customizable tracking markers full-screen, so you can film the device and replace its screen in post-production – with any video, image or UI animation.

How it works
1. Choose marker type, size and colors
2. Tap "Start Tracking" – the markers fill the whole screen
3. Film the device in your shot
4. Track the markers in your VFX software, e.g. Mocha, After Effects, Nuke, DaVinci Resolve / Fusion or Blender
5. Replace the screen content
To exit, touch the screen with three fingers at the same time.

• Four marker types: pie, circle, triangle, cross
• Five marker sizes and four density levels – from no markers up to 13
• Edge markers in all four corners for corner pin tracking, in five sizes
• Any background and marker color – use green screen or blue screen colors to key the display and still track it
• Scroll markers: swipe vertically or horizontally and the markers move with your finger, so real scrolling gestures can be tracked – optionally with their own marker type
• Live preview of your marker layout
• Distraction-free full screen without status and navigation bar
• Settings are saved automatically

Tips for clean tracking
• Lower the screen brightness if the markers bloom on camera
• Avoid reflections on the display
• High contrast between background and markers tracks best
