Deskplot turns your real classroom into a seating chart you can change in seconds — and it keeps your seating rules for you.

DRAW YOUR ROOM
• Drag single desks, pairs, tables of 4 or 6, round tables, your desk, the board and the door to where they really are
• Snap to a grid, rotate, duplicate — or start from rows, pairs, a U-shape, groups or round tables sized for your class
• Move a desk and the student moves with it

SEAT EVERYONE BY YOUR RULES
• Keep two students apart, or keep two together
• Front row, back row or near the door
• Everyone tagged "glasses" or "needs front" at the front; spread out everyone tagged "talkative"
• Auto-arrange moves only the students a rule needs moved; Shuffle makes a fresh plan that still keeps every rule
• Lock a seat and it never moves
• A rule that can't be kept is shown, never quietly broken

RUN THE LESSON
• Random student picker: nobody is picked twice until everyone has had a turn, and absent students are skipped
• Random groups of any size that keep the same keep-apart and keep-together rules
• Attendance in a few taps: tap a seat for here, absent or late
• Simple +1 / −1 participation and behaviour points, with totals
• Present mode: the chart big and clean on the projector — no tools, no ads

PLAN AHEAD
• Several seating plans per class: exams, group work, a fresh start each term (Pro)
• Print or save a PDF of the chart, plus a substitute-teacher sheet with seat numbers, tags, notes and a register column (Pro)

ADD YOUR CLASS QUICKLY
• Type names, paste a list (one per line — "Last, First" and spreadsheet columns work), or import a CSV from your school system (Pro)
• First names are enough. A last initial appears only when two students share a first name
• Colours and tags for each student — no medical detail is ever needed

Your class lists, seating plans, attendance and points stay on your device. There is no account and no server, and nothing is uploaded. Backups go only where you send them.
