Could have been a great game if it's not for the poor energy system and hidden gotchas when playing the game. Everything costs way too much energy to progress. They keep talking about how merging 5 is better than 3, but makes it extremely easy to mistakenly merge 3, which will be very costly for higher level items. It is also very hard to arrange items on the board. It feels like this is just a cash grab rather than something that tries to be enjoyable.

This game is designed for you to spend money. There's little to no playtime before your energy runs out. There's a few options to watch an ad, which give 15 energy and a minigame you can play for 10 energy... But a lot of objects just on the starter expedition alone cost 6-8 energy to remove tiny objects! Once you start removing larger ones, you get a few clicks before you're stuck waiting for energy regen. Unplayable without spending real life money.

This would be a great game if there were an option to get free gems and energy without spending money. Many apps like this offer optional ad watching to earn. Without this player is forced to wait until enough energy builds to continue gameplay, so it's slow going. I think I'll stay with the games that offer options which is a shame because I did like the artwork and the game but I'm not spending money to play.
